ARRIVE ON TIME
Lateness is disruptive to the learning process. Late students will be admitted to class at the instructor’s discretion.
RESPECT COLLEGE PROPERTY
Do not put your feet on chairs, window sills, tables, desks, walls, etc.
DO NOT DISRUPT THE CLASS
Texting and other use of mobile devices, passing notes, talking, throwing objects, sleeping, and other forms of disruption are NOT acceptable classroom behavior. ALL mobile devices should be silenced and put away. Headphones and earbuds should be taken off and put away. Disruptive students will be asked to leave the class.
DO NOT DISRESPECT OTHERS (STAFF, FELLOW STUDENTS, OR YOURSELF)
Any student who acts in a disrespectful manner upon being asked to leave a classroom for disruption (including refusal or engaging the faculty in a discussion over the matter) shall be subject to disciplinary action that may include suspension or expulsion from the program and the College.

o Pencils/Pens
o Notebook/Paper
o Workbook
o Optional
Scientific Calculator
I recommend the TI-30XS MultiView
Highlighters/Colored Pencils
CLASSWORK
Please feel free to discuss problems while you are doing classwork. However, I expect you to stop talking and pay attention to the board when I begin to review the problems.
HOMEWORK
Will be given almost every day, it is important to do it so you get practice on the material.
QUIZZES
There will be a few short quizzes throughout the session, usually when we finish a topic. Remember this is not a graded course, the quizzes are so you and I know how you are doing with the material. Please just do your best.
